PWWS Scholarship Fund

In 2000, PWWS established a scholarship fund for single mothers who reside in Forsyth County and seek to advance themselves through higher education. The fund provides at least $500 for tuition and books for one semester or quarter of study at an accredited institution.

Since it's inception, members of the organization have generously given and raised money through our annual silent auction, 50/50 raffle and other opportunities, all which have gone toward the growth of the fund and ultimately helping the lives of those in need. The goal of PWWS is to continue providing support to help single-working mothers who want to further their education. To make a donation, begin by filling out the online donation form.

To apply, any interested woman can either download the application materials from this site or contact the Financial Aid Office at her college. Application packets must be complete to be considered. Application deadlines are shown on the application forms and supporting materials.

PWWS encourages all interested and eligible women to apply.
