PWWS Scholarship Fund is recognized in Scene & Heard by Local Columnist, Leigh Somerville McMillan
Winston-Salem, NC, April 14, 2009 - Professional Women of Winston-Salem (PWWS) had a special guest at it’s April luncheon. Leigh Somerville McMillan, a local columnist, joined PWWS members and guests for a wonderful lunch, networking program and silent auction for the PWWS Scholarship Fund.
Following the meeting, Leigh Somerville McMillan wrote an article about PWWS. In her piece, she included numerous facts about the PWWS Scholarship Fund and many quotes by members.

About the PWWS Scholarship Fund: Since 2000, PWWS members have been helping single-working mothers in the Winston-Salem community to go back to school. The fund provides at least $500 for tuition and books for one semester or quarter of study at an accredited institution. All interested and eligible women are welcome to apply.
